At a time when the whole sector is passionated about Web 2.0 and social networks, there is a tool that is going through a revolution. This tool is the one we all use to communicate: the email, central hub of your communication. Unfortunately instead of facilitate work, the email can sometimes be unproductive because of the time spent managing it.
Thanks to semantic tools, the project of research DLM 3.0 aimed to create the software tools which will make the email productive again, especially by facilitating the sorting, the organization, the management and the treatment of emails.
This project which should be finished in early 2012 is led by a consortium of four entities:

Alinto, leader of the DLM 3.0 project, provides messaging solutions (email, fax, SMS and interconnection of the three) for 10 years now. The company has over 4,000 customers in 5 countries in Europe through a network of 100 partners for a total of 1.2 million users.

Kwaga offer innovative semantic analysis software solutions to facilitate the management of electronic messages by automatically identifying key information directly into messages content.

The Computing Laboratory for Images and Information Systems has about 280 people including 110 researchers around two thematic departments “Image” and “Data, Knowledge, Services”. The LIRIS has four guardianship: INSA Lyon, Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, École Centrale de Lyon and Université Lyon 2, and sites at La Doua, Ecully and Bron.

The Agency for Business Creation offers information and support to entrepreneurs since 1996. The APCE will be beta tester of the DLM 3.0 project.
